Dear Parents and Carers,
Since Hyndland After School Club are currently not able to take children from other schools due to the latest government guidelines, we have decided to pilot our own holiday club at Notre Dame in the second week of the spring holiday.
Hours & Cost
We will be open from 8am to 6pm from Monday 12th April to Friday 16th April 2021. Full-day bookings (8am to 6pm) are £27.50 and half-day bookings (8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm) are £17.50. The finance team at Hyndland After School Club will contact you regarding payments once you have submitted a booking form.
Activities
We will not be able to take the children on trips due to COVID-19 restrictions and concerns, so all of our activities will be at the Afty. But don’t worry, we have lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities planned for the children throughout the week! Each day, we will have arts and crafts, baking, creative arts, sports, games and much more! Here is a link to our activity programme: 2021 Spring Holiday Activity Programme.
We will have three main activities each morning and afternoon. If you make a half day booking, please note that the order and times of our activities may be subject to change, and some activities may continue from morning to afternoon.
Breakfast, Lunch & Snacks
We will provide the children with breakfast in the morning until from 8am to 9am and snacks at 10.30am and 3.30pm. We will offer cereal or toast for breakfast and toasties or our ‘Snack of the Day’ plus fruit and veg at snack times.
Please provide your child with a packed lunch and a drink or water bottle when they attend the club; lunch will be from 1pm to 1.30pm. Please ensure your child does not bring nuts or products that contain nuts as some of our children have severe allergies.
Groups
At our after school club, we manage the children in two groups (P1 to P4 and P5 to P7) in line with the latest goverment guidance on school aged childcare services. Please note that due to our lower numbers in terms of children and staff over the spring holiday, we will manage the children in one group (with P1 to P7 children mixed together).
Signing In & Out
We will be based in the club hall as normal, so access is along the bridge. Please come to the slidey door at the end of the bridge when you drop your child off and when you collect your child at the end of the day. If you have any issues gaining access, please press the Facility Officer button beside the gate or call us on 07419 999 452.
Terms & Conditions
Our usual Terms and Conditions apply. Where possible, bookings should be made ASAP in advance as this will help us to plan staffing and resources.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Best wishes,
John Ansdell
Manager, Notre Dame Kids Club
