Dear Parents and Carers,

Firstly, we would like to thank all the parents and carers, the children, the team at Hyndland After School Club and all the staff in Notre Dame Primary for your support since the club opened.  We have had to continually revise our procedures to find the best way to operate – it has taken us a few months but we finally feel settled into a routine!

You will have noticed that we now keep the doors to the hall locked and have a doorbell system.  Previously, the doors were kept open to accommodate other groups with lets in the school, but this raised some safety concerns.

The gate to the bridge should be kept open from 3pm as the entrances to the school are now secure.  Occasionally, the gate may still be closed– please press the button for the Facility Officer and the janitor will let you in.  If there is no reply, please call us on 07419 999 452.

Our numbers are steadily increasing and some days we are getting close to our capacity.  We will operate a waiting list if we become fully-booked.

Our application to use the kitchen facilities in Notre Dame Primary has been approved.  From January we will be able to offer the children hot snacks and baking activities!

Please contact us if you have a child starting in P1 next year and you would like to register with us.

This year we are continuing our tradition of having a Christmas Hamper Raffle!  The draw is tomorrow (Thursday 17^th December) at 5pm – we are still welcoming donations for the hamper and tickets will be available until the draw.

Proceeds will go towards new equipment and resources for the children, and we will also make a donation to a charity of the children’s choice.

Just a reminder that we will be open from 2.30pm to 6pm on Tuesday 22^nd December, and we will reopen on Wednesday 6^th January as normal at 3pm.
